📰SACO | RAID | Drugs, Guns, and Flash Grenades

“Officers were seen detaining 2 females and 5 males and removing a firearm from a safe that was brought out of the home”

October 30, 2025, This morning, the Biddeford Buzz has received multiple reports of a large police presence at 99 Temple Street in Saco.

Saco Police Department, York County Sheriffs and Maine DEA agents have been confirmed to be on the scene and are still on the scene as of 8:30 AM.

According to witnesses, at approximately 5:45 AM this morning, multiple residents awoke to several loud bangs that they strongly believe was the sound of multiple “flash bang” grenades going off in a nearby residence.

Following the sounds, multiple residents took to their windows to see what was occurring. Upon inspection, residents described seeing a scene that was “a classic movie drug raid”.

Witnesses described the presence of multiple law enforcement agencies, tactical gear, camo, dogs,evidence bags, and more.

According to one bystander, law enforcement officers were seen detaining 2 females and 5 males and witnessed officers removing a firearm from a safe that was brought out of the home.

Officers were seen "smashing open" a safe in the roadway to get to the contents inside.
