October 29, 2025, According to reports from the MDEA and Biddeford Police Department, Brandon Gelsomini, 28, of Biddeford was charged with Aggravated Trafficking Scheduled āWā Drugs Class A and Violation of Bail Conditions.
For the past two months, MDEA and Biddeford Police received information from the Biddeford community reporting illicit drug sales from an encampment adjacent to the railroad tracks along James Street. An extensive investigation resulted in the identification of the main drug trafficker, Brandon Gelsomini.

A judicial search warrant was sought and granted for Gelsominiās tent at that location. Due to Biddeford High School being in such close proximity, an early morning service of the warrant was requested.
On October 29, 2025, at approximately 7:00am, MDEA agents, Biddeford Police, USDEA, and the York County Sheriffās Department executed the search warrant on Gelsominiās encampment tent. Gelsomini was present and was taken into custody on an unrelated arrest warrant.
A search of the tent resulted in the seizure of 120 grams of Fentanyl, 21grams of Cocaine Hydrochloride (powder), 5 grams of Cocaine Base (Crack), as well as other items indicative of drug trafficking. A loaded shotgun and approximately $7,000.00 in suspected drug proceeds were located alongside the drugs. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is $14,000.00.
Gelsomini was subsequently charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs ā Class A (School Zone, Firearm) along with Violation of Bail Conditions and is currently at the York County Jail being held without bail pending an appearance in court on October 31, 2025. This investigation will continue, and additional arrests are expected.
