📰 STANDISH | Standish woman charged with murder | Arrest Made in Standish Homicide

According to reports from the Maine State Police, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at approximately 12:40 PM, Detectives with Major Crimes Unit South arrested 37-year-old Lynn Perkins of Standish at 715 River Road in Standish.
Perkins was charged with Murder in connection to the death of 49-year-old Matthew Hamilton - Perkins and Hamilton had been in a relationship together.
Hamilton was located deceased inside the River Road residence on Friday, October 3, 2025.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound and manner of death was ruled a homicide.
Perkins was transported to the Cumberland County Jail where she will be held without bail. The investigation is ongoing.
