NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION DAY!

SEPTEMBER 16, 2025


September 16 is National Voter Registration Day!  If you plan to vote in the November 4, 2025 Election and are not yet registered to vote or have changed your address or name, we encourage you to register to vote early to save time in line at the polls on Election Day.


You can register to vote by the following methods:

  •  In person at City Hall. You can register in person all year, up to and including Election Day.

  •  Online via the State of Maine Online Voter Registration Service. This option is available until 5 pm on October 14.

  •  By mail using the Maine Voter Registration Application. You will need to include a photocopy of the required ID. Registrations by mail need to be received in the Clerk’s office by 5:00 pm on October 14, 2025.
