🚧ELM STREET CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Last week, the portion of Elm Street from Lincoln Street into Saco was reopened, allowing drivers to enter Saco by taking a right turn off Lincoln Street. After monitoring traffic flows downtown since this change, we have decided to test the removal of the temporary traffic signal at the intersection of Main and Alfred Street. Beginning at 6 AM tomorrow, drivers should follow the regular traffic pattern for this intersection (Alfred Street traffic should yield to Main Street traffic).
We are grateful for your patience and understanding as we work to complete this extensive sewer infrastructure project on Elm Street, which was required by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.
