🚧 ALFRED STREET TRAFFIC & ROADWORK

Seaboard Drilling will be drilling test holes on Alfred Street between Summer Street and Porter Street this week to determine the depth of bedrock under the roadway.

While two-way traffic is expected to be maintained on Alfred Street while work is underway, sections of Mt Vernon Street, Birch Street, and Porter Street may be temporarily blocked for no more than four hours maximum at a time.

The data gathered from the test holes will be used to accurately design a sewer separation project on Alfred Street planned for 2026.
