🚧TRAFFIC ADVISORY (9/17/25)

TRAFFIC ADVISORY from City of Saco Government and City of Biddeford Government:

CSX crews will complete repairs at the Main Street railroad crossing in downtown Saco on Wednesday, Sept. 17, starting at 9:00 AM. The crossing will be closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles, and crews will reopen the road as soon as the work is safely finished.

DETOUR INFORMATION:

• Southbound (into Biddeford): Please use Elm Street to cross into Biddeford. Downtown Saco traffic on Main Street will be detoured to Water Street to reach the Elm Street bridge.

• Northbound (into Saco): Please use Lincoln Street in Biddeford to access the Elm Street bridge.

We know there has been a lot of construction in Saco and Biddeford this season, and we understand this adds to the frustration. Thank you for your patience as CSX completes this important work to keep the rail crossing safe and reliable.
