February 17, 2026, at tonight's City Council Meeting, multiple (the majority) attendees spoke in support of spending recreation bond funds (approved during the 2025 election) on rebuilding a skate park in Biddeford.

And although other projects were referenced by individuals, the skate park overwhelmingly recieved the largest amount of support from meeting attendees.
Following a new skate park, both maintaining the Community Center and cleaning up the trails at Clifford Park were mentioned by several residents as desired projects to be completed.
Worth noting, several individuals referenced frustration with previous and current leadership pertaining to the city condemning the previous park, but not replacing it.
So, what have you?... Is a skate park the right move?
