📰BIDDEFORD | Police Department Swears in 2 Newly Promoted Sergeants

November 3, 2025, According to the Biddeford Police Department, recently, Chief Fisk held a swearing in ceremony for 2 newly promoted sergeants.
The Biddeford Police Department is proud to announce the promotion of Sergeants Hubbard and Corey, who will be assigned to the patrol division as supervisors.
Sergeant Adam Hubbard has served with the Biddeford Police Department for the past eight years, working in roles including patrol officer, domestic violence investigator, and detective.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Sergeant Hubbard is passionate about teamwork, investigating cases, and recruiting the next generation of officers. In 2021, he was recognized as Investigator of the Year. Outside of work, Sergeant Hubbard enjoys spending time with family and going to the beach.
The second officer that was promoted to sergeant was Scott Corey.
Sergeant Scott Corey brings over 25 years of law enforcement experience to his new role as a patrol supervisor, having previously served as a Maine Drug Enforcement and Computer Crimes Special Agent, K-9 Handler, and School Resource Officer. He holds degrees in Criminal Justice from Southern Maine Community College and Husson University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of New Haven.

Sergeant Corey is passionate about mentoring others and takes pride in seeing those he has trained grow and succeed in their careers. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching sports, playing hockey, and hiking with his wife.
