📰SACO | EXIT 35 - Now Open!

November 3, 2025, Maine Turnpike Authority's first new exit in more than 20 years is designed to improve connections to and from the Turnpike, providing easier Turnpike access to westerly traffic, reducing peak travel congestion along Route 112 and Industrial Park Road, and reducing traffic at Exit 36.

There have been traffic delays this morning due to signal timing at the Exit 35 on- and off- ramps. Maine Turnpike has informed the City that their contractor is actively working to resolve the issue.

We encourage drivers to stay alert, follow posted signs, and allow a little extra travel time while everyone adjusts to the new traffic patterns. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as this long-awaited project begins serving the community!
