📰BIDDEFORD | GRANITE STREET INCIDENT FULLY CONFIRMED - WE WERE CORRECT
ICE was not present, full release below:
Via Biddeford Police Department, On Sunday, November 9, 2025, at approximately 1:00 AM, a Biddeford police officer conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle. The operator, who initially provided a false name, fled in the vehicle.
Officers were able to positively identify the operator as Harley Winchenbach, 33, of Biddeford. Officers learned that Winchenbach had an active warrant for his arrest for Trafficking in Prison Contraband and Violating Conditions of Release. Officers attempted to arrest Winchenbach at his residence on Congress Street; however, he did not comply.

The Southern Maine Special Response Team responded to assist the Biddeford Police Department and took Winchenbach into custody without incident. Winchenbach received additional charges, including Operating After Habitual Offender Revocation, Failing to Stop, Failure to Provide Correct Name, Address, or Date of Birth, and Violating Conditions Release.
Nacole Darling, 39, of North Berwick, was also at the residence and was arrested for Violating Conditions of Release.

Winchenbach and Darling were both transported to York County Jail.
There were no federal agencies involved in this incident.
