May 20, 2026, Earlier today, Hannah Pingree for Governor held a public town hall event at The Gutter in Downtown Biddeford (129 Main Street).

The event had roughly 55+ individuals in attendance and began at approximately 5:30PM and ran for roughly 2 hours.
"I've spent my whole career standing up on tough issues, and I know it's a really important time that we elect a governor who can do that as well", said Pingree when welcoming attendees.

According to her campaign website, Pingree's tops issues she plans to address for Mainers if elected are, "Affordability, Economic Opportunity, Healthcare, Housing, and Climate & Energy".

In addition to hearing from Pingree, attendees heard from Maine Speaker of the House Ryan Fecteau.

Notably present in the audience were Representative Marc Malon, Senator Henry Ingwersen, Representative Archer, Biddeford Ward 5 Councilor David Kurtz, Biddeford Ward 4 Councilor Dylan Doughty, and Biddeford School Board Member Amy Clearwater.
