(Spolier alert... the answers is YES.)
Last night, both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Biddeford Tigers Football team took to the field at Greeley High School giving the Biddeford Community a glimpse of what the 2025 Football season may hold.
The game ended in a tie with a score of 26 to 26, but donāt let that mislead you - to be quite honest, things are looking⦠GREAT.

But, a few quick "housekeeping items" before we briefly recap last night's game. First, this was a pre-season game which provided the opportunity for both the Biddeford Varsity and Junior Varsity teams to each play 1 half of the game. As one parent put it, "They were testing things out before the games count". Secondly, (and more importantly) BIDDEFORD COULD HAVE ONE HECK OF A SEASON!
During the first half of the game (VARSITY HALF) - Kelly OāGuinn (#2), Biddeford Senior, Varsity Co-Captain and starting running back, looked strong on the field leading the team scoring 3 touch downs for 18 points.
Julius Searles (#4), Biddeford senior, Co-Captain and starting wide receiver, set up two of the three touchdowns scored by O'Guinn in the first half by completing both a 25 and 30 yard pass.
In addition, Achile Tcholuka (#6), Biddeford sophomore and Varsity player, scored two field goals earning the team 4 points.
During the 2nd half of the game (JUNIOR VARSITY)- Lybunrong Chhay (#22), Biddeford sophomore and Junior Varsity running back, scored a touchdown bringing the Tigers Ā final score to 26.
Both the Tigers Varsity and Junior Varsity defense looked formidable Ā and showed great promise for the 2025 season⦠Donāt believe us?.. just ask the Quarter Back from the other team that got a āBIG HUGā from our very own Junior Varsity defensive player Jackson Dore (#10)... Did we mention Jackson is a freshman? Keep your eye on this one, heās going to do some big things. WE SEE YOU JACKSON - NICE WORK!

In conclusion, this exhibition game ended in a tie, but the energy, effort, and fight were a win for our Tigers and they need your support to help keep that going! As this team and parents say, āOne Family, One Communityā.
ā¦WITH THAT BEING SAID - MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The first regular season HOME GAME is scheduled for September 4th at the Biddeford Highschool Waterhouse Field with Kickoff at 6:00 PM!
