📰SACO EXIT 35 | Opening Date! 11/21/25

Project Schedule: Completion date November 21, 2025

Project Scope: The work consists of highway, interchange, and toll system construction at Exit 35 in Saco and modifications to the Exit 36 Interchange in Saco. The work includes a new interchange at MM 35, including southbound and northbound ramps, earthwork, pavement, concrete, signing, overhead sign structures, concrete barrier, guardrail, drainage, stormwater management, electrical work, highway lighting, lightning suppression systems, and maintenance of traffic.

Schedule: Roadway work on Route 112 continues as crews finish up utility connections, roadway widening, and adjacent grading in preparation for base and intermediate paving lifts. In the buildings, there have been many cable terminations for the tolling equipment. At the plazas, hardware is being installed in preparation for final commissioning of the tolling system. Over the next month, crews will finish paving all the ramps and Route 112. Once the paving in complete, many of the new signs will be installed along mainline and Route 112.
