📰OLD ORCHARD | You Can't Park There -Officer, um... you can't park there.

November 19, 2025, today at approximately 10:40 AM, an Old Orchard Beach Police Officer incorrectly executed a u-turn when conducting official police business resulting in them driving directly into a traffic sign.

Upon witnessing the event, an individual called 911 and was able to confirm with dispatch that the officer did not suffer a medical event.

This occurred on Saco Ave. The officer was intially facing in the direction heading in to downtown Old Orchard, he then attempted to make a u-turn to drive in the opposite direction which resulted in the crash.

This occurred to poor driving from the police officer.
