🎊 CONGRATULATIONS ALEX MCPHAIL!

November 15, 2025, The Biddeford + Saco Chamber of Commerce + Industry has hired Alex MacPhail (resident of Saco) to be their new executive director.

MacPhail will start as executive director on Monday, Nov. 17, according to a press release from the chamber’s board of directors.

In the role as executive drector, MacPhail will be responsible for member engagement, community partnerships, events, marketing, administrative coordination, and the day-to-day operations of the organization.

“The Chamber looks forward to the direction and energy Alex will bring to the organization in this role,” said the board in the press release.

"Alex is known in the Biddeford Saco area and has been active in the local community for years. He brings strong communication skills, and deep local connections across the business community. His ongoing involvement with a wide range of businesses and organizations positions him well to lead the Chamber’s work moving forward,” said the chamber board in the press release.
