Political newcomer Sam Pecor has officially submitted his nomination papers with the required signatures to run for the City of Biddeford Government City Council Seat representing Ward 7.
SAM PECOR, a Scarborough native but current Biddeford resident who works as a Real Estate Sales Agent, has entered the 2025 Biddeford Municipal Election for the Ward 7 seat (a spot recently vacated by Mayoral hopeful LaFountain for Mayor).
A few words directly from Sam, "Biddeford has seen big projects, but decades of deferred maintenance and rising costs are squeezing Ward 7 homeowners and renters alike. Talking about new spending without a plan to maintain what we already have isn't sustainable. My campaign is about getting back to basics and showing results -maintaining streets and infrastructure fostering small, locally owned housing that strengthens our neighborhoods, and reporting progress every month."

Basics & Budget: Stretch every taxpayer dollar, pursue outside funding, and limit new debt so more of the budget goes to maintenance--not interest.
Housing & Neighborhoods: Clear, predictable rules that favor small rehab, ADUs, and local infill-reduce red tape while protecting neighborhood character.
Ethics & Disclosure
No self-dealing. Full transparency. l will disclose any real estate interests, recuse myself when appropriate, and post disclosures within 48 hours.
Accountability & Service: Publish votes & rationales, hold monthly Ward 7 office hours, and set response-time standards for constituent issues.
