JUST IN - Today, Liam LaFountain for Mayor has officially entered the race to become Biddeford’s next Mayor. | Liam LaFountain currently serves as a City Councilor representing Ward 7 and is the City of Biddeford Government Council President. Below is the announcement from his campaign:

"Today, I turned in my nomination papers to the City Clerk's Office! Over the last three weeks, I’ve canvassed all 7 wards and I’m deeply grateful to neighbors across Biddeford, some familiar faces and many new, who took the time to sign papers, share thoughtful conversations, and voice their vision for our city.

To the hundreds of residents I’ve spoken with, one thing is clear: the people of Biddeford want accountability, commitment, and transparency at City Hall.

Carrying these principles forward, I am proud to officially announce my candidacy to be the next Mayor of Biddeford, to put the public interest at the center of every decision.
