BREAKING NEWS! 🗞 -MAYOR ISSUES STATEMENT ABOUT REMOVAL REQUEST OF ROCH ANGERS FROM PLANNING BOARD-

AT approximately 4:25PM Marty Grohman's Community Corner released the following statement regarding his request of removal of Planning Board member Roch Angers:

"This one has been hard for me. Roch and I sat on his deck and talked about his garden. He grows amazing tomatoes, they are perfect. I told him that I was going to have to initiate the process to remove him, and he understood. He said he was going to fight it. But it was very respectful and I have a ton of respect for him. (I hope you can tell that from the letter I sent him, attached.)

I realize this is very bad for me politically, but I've got to do what is right. Rules are rules, and they have to be followed. I didn't get to this point with taking on hard problems for the City without being tough. I will stick to principles and ethics no matter what it means for me in the election. If the planning board is rendered impotent because we have members that don't follow the rules, the entirety of our planning authority is at risk. I cannot let that happen.
