February 10, 2026, Criticism is quickly building online following the release of a campaign ad by the National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) endorsing U.S. Senator Susan Collins.
2 hours ago, just days after the White House posted and then deleted a meme depicting former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama as gorillas, the NRSC released an endorsement video posted on their Twitter that includes a brief image of Senator Collins and a large gorilla.
The image is seen briefly in the first 3 seconds of the video and depicts an "army of Senator Collins standing in front of a Gorilla.

Due to the recent post from the white house, many folks have expressed concern and have suggested this post to be racially insensitive.
