November 20, 2025, This evening, the Biddeford + Saco Chamber of Commerce + Industry Board of Directors, Executive Director, local business owners and employees, several members of the local press, and others, all gathered for the grand opening for Bounce Pickle + Play and Match Point Kitchen, Biddeford’s newest destination for play, dining and community connection; a hub for “recreation and relaxation”.

Bounce Pickle + Play, located at 420 Alfred Street in the Five Points Shopping Center, is a 140,000-square-foot space that features six pickleball courts, three top-of-the-line golf simulator bays, and Match Point Kitchen. The project is the newest addition to the Atlantic Holdings portfolio, led by Maine-based entrepreneur, real estate developer, and hotelier Tim Harrington and business partner Richard Evans.

The evening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony presented by the Chamber, followed by networking, light bites from Match Point Kitchen, drink tickets, and a chance to experience Bounce’s new indoor pickleball courts, golf simulators, and the “buzzy” atmosphere.

When asked about the grand opening, recently hired Chamber Executive Director Alex MacPhail said, “It's amazing, I'll tell you what. Strange twist of fate, literally 30 years ago, I managed the bookland that was next door to here. So to see the plaza go down and come back as it has, is just remarkable. To see these [Bounce] guys as an anchor tenant here is fantastic!"

The new facility combines active fun, great food and community spirit under one roof, providing a year-round space for locals and visitors alike.

Biddeford Mayor Marty Grohman added, “Bounce is awesome, I love It! I think it has a good vibe and the people are nice. It’s fun just to hang out even if you don’t want to play pickle ball or use the golf simulator.”
