June 2, 2026, Yesterday, just prior to their final game of the season, the Biddeford Tigers Baseball program held a brief "Senior Night" ceremony recognizing graduating senior Payton Blais.
For those who have not attended a "senior night", it's a night where coaches, players, parents, and the community recognize graduationg seniors on the team for their hard work and dedication to the sport, school, and local community!
In furthering recognition for Payton and his accomplishments, we are proud to share a letter from Payton's mom and dad written directly from them, to Payton - we challenge you not to cry ❤️

Your dad and I have spent countless hours on the baseball field watching you grow, learn the game, and become a very talented player. Your ability to read the ball and react is astounding. Playing ball has taught you so many important life lessons, not just how to play the game. From learning that life throws you curve balls (literally leaving their impact), to learning how to lead, learning that communication is key, and that being a role model comes with great responsibility, you have handled every single one with poise and ease. We hope you look back at all the time on the diamond with fond memories and life long friendships. We are so proud of the man you are!
