March 5, 2026, According to the Old Orchard Beach Police Department, at approximately 12:49 AM, Old Orchard Beach Police Officers conducting proactive traffic enforcement initiated a motor vehicle stop. Officers identified the vehicle operator as Joshua A. Poissant, 38, of Arundel, Maine. A subsequent investigation revealed that Poissant was currently on two sets of bail conditions. Officers requested that a K-9 respond to the location to conduct a drug sniff of the vehicle.

March 2, 2026, According to officials, on February 13th, Old Orchard Police were called to a residence of reports of a physical altercation between two males. Upon arrival, officers found a male who had sustained severe trauma to his face; the individual was bleeding from their mouth and was missing several of their teeth.
