July 31, 2026, Following a social media post that was shared yesterday in Biddeford and surrounding areas, today at 6:00 PM, individuals begain gathering at the corner of Hill and Pool Streets, to "refresh" the flowers and candles that have been set up to honor the life of Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero.
Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero was killed in an ICE involved shooting on the morning of July 13, 2026, in Biddeford Maine.
The message shared yesterday on social media by a Biddeford resident read, "Please come one and come all to Johan's corner at Pool Street and Hill Street this Friday 7/31 at 6:00 p.m. to refresh the flowers and candles that have honored his life and mourned his loss."
When we asked the gentlemen who made the social media post yesterday "why", he replied, "because he was my neighbor".
