September 8, 2026, This evening, Biddeford Ballet, Biddeford's newest business located on its historic Main Street, held a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of their grand opening and upcoming first semester.
The ceremony was hosted by the Saco-Biddeford-Saco Chamber of Commerce +Industry, and was attended by several local business owners, residents and area politicians including Saco Mayor Jodi Macphail, Senator Henry Ingwersen, and former Biddeford Mayor Alan Casavant.
Housed on the first floor of 163 Main Street, Suite 1, the newly renovated studio is spacious, features multiple dance bars, mirrors, a changing room, an administrative office, and also offers seating for those that wish to remain present, while their students are in class.
Owned and operated by Chloe Reynolds, Biddeford Ballet's mission is "to provide world-class ballet training that develops strong technique, artistry, confidence, and discipline in dancers of all ages, while aiming to contribute to downtown Biddeford and the community."

Reynolds, founder and Artistic Director of Biddeford Ballet, brings years of professional experience to her students and is committed to "nurturing each individual's talent and creativity, ensuring a supportive and enriching learning experience."

According to the schools website, Biddeford Ballet students will be trained in both classical Vaganova (Russian) and Cecchetti (Italian) methods, as well as contemporary ballet with performance opportunities a minimum of twice a year.

Chloe Reynolds is a retired professional ballet dancer and esteemed dance educator with a career spanning performance, choreography, and teaching.
She was trained at some of the nation’s most prestigious institutions such as the Joffrey Ballet School, Hartford Ballet, and the School of American Ballet (NYC Ballet's
school).
Throughout her professional career, Chloe Reynolds danced with companies including Hartford Ballet, Staten Island Ballet, and Ballet Tech, and served as Principal Dancer with Urban Ballet Theater, where she earned acclaim for her expressive artistry and commanding stage presence in the New York Times.
She had the privilege of performing at historic venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Jacobs Pillow, The Bushnell, and The Joyce Theater as well as many other theaters all over the United States.
After retiring from the stage, Chloe Reynolds dedicated her passion to teaching, sharing her expertise through master classes and workshops
across the country. She taught at schools such as MOSA Dance Academy in Long Island NY, and Abrons Arts Center in NYC, was the Assistant Director of Dance at AAC, and became Ballet Master of Urban Ballet Theatre, NYC.
