📰BIDDEFORD | BHS Lacrosse Program Rasies over $3,400 for MHMMC Oncology Department

May 28, 2026, For those who did not have a chance to attend, this past weekend, BHS Boys and Girls Lacrosse Teams held a special event titled “Gloria’s Game”.
According to school officals, the purpose of the game was to honor Gloria (Townsend) Berkowitz, the late mother of Biddeford boys lacrosse coach Marsh Gray who passed away from breast cancer in 1991 at the age of 36.
If you know Biddeford, then it will come to you as no surprise to learn this community fundraising event was a massive success!
With the community rallying behind them, and both teams working together, the program raised $3,419.15 for the MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Oncology Department - absolutely awesome!
This event, serves as another great example of the fantastic, compassionate, caring community that is Biddeford, Maine.
