📰BIDDEFORD | 2025 Property Tax Bills & Mil Rate

The City of Biddeford has released its 2025 property tax bills with the mil rate set at 14.94. This is an increase from the previous mil rate of 14.22 but is less then what the City initially projected.

According to City Manager Truc Dever,

"when the FY 25/26 budget was adopted, the projected mil rate (per $1000) at the time was 15.03. What the Assessor has confirmed is that the mil rate will be 14.94. It’s less than what was budgeted for the fiscal year."

The City of Biddeford will be mailing out 2025 property tax bills on September 25, 2025. Balances are now available to view online at (https://www.invoicecloud.com/biddeford), and PDF copies of bills are expected to be available online by the mailing date.

Biddeford’s mil rate is $14.94 per $1,000 of assessed value. No market adjustments were done this year, but new constructions, improvements, or other qualifying changes in value were updated.

Payments will be due on October 30, 2025. The most efficient way to pay your tax bill is to mail it to the Tax Collector (PO Box 586, Biddeford, ME 04005). You will also find a secure drop box for property tax payments located on the ground floor of City Hall.
