A big crowd (including Marty Grohman's Community Corner, City of Biddeford Government employees, volunteers, and more) turned out today for the AccessDirect Recovery Network’s grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony in downtown Biddeford. In addition, Gordon Smith, Maine’s Director of Opioid Response also attended the ceremony.

Now fully operational in their new space located at 275 Main Street, Ryan Paige (Cofounder & Chief Operating Officer), Cynthia Paige (Cofounder & Chief Executive Officer) and staff are ready to continue their goal “to provide direction and connection to individuals suffering with substance use disorder through fast access to a network of treatment facilities and recovery resources.”
Different from other organizations, AccessDirect Recovery Network is the only SUD organization in the state of Maine that supplies an authentic 24/7 call center.
During today’s ceremony, AccessDirect Recovery Network’s Cofounder Ryan Paige remarked that “AccessDirect Recovery Network is successful in what we do, because of all of you”. He went on to thank his staff, the community and his wife for all of their continued effort and support.
Mayor Marty Grohman addressed Ryan, his team, and the community as a whole and stated that “... as mayor, I see the challenges that substance abuse disorder brings to the community, but I also see the hope that organizations like yours bring and are creating.”
Mayor Grohman went on to say, “Recovery happens in the community. I am pleased, proud, and honored to be a part of this and to welcome AccessDirect Recovery Network to Biddeford. We are going to be a great team and a great community together.”

In closing, the Mayor thanked Centurion Property Management (the building owner at 275 Main street) for the willingness to assist and expressed that ”they have been wonderful leaders in the Biddeford Community”. Mayor Grohman also thanked the Biddeford Buzz for covering the event today.
Immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony, folks were provided the opportunity to walk through the new location and check it out. In addition to the several offices, the space also features a shared break room and restroom.
AccessDirect is excited to be here and to help those in our community suffering from substance abuse disorder; these folks are doing honest, caring, and meaningful work.
AccessDirect Recovery Network can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by phone at 207-482-3835.
